 Yea they seem to just blanket deny claims no matter how badly they fuck up. Oh and they will be sure to wait the 90 days to respond and they certainly won't give you 90 days to respond. Oh and if you want to contest it more expect you give up a work day to the state. They towed my car and impounded it because I had 5 unpaid tickets that they had mailed to Virginia. This was when I first moved here, so that's where it was registered. I didn't know about them, came out of my house to go to an interview, and my car was gone. How did you not know about any of the tickets, though? Did they not issue paper citations? I knew about 3 of them, but the other ones I never saw on my windshield.

The DMV Registration tags expiring, that's on him. He can't blame the city, state, etc. for that. Renewing registration is key, because if any minor incident happens, you're facing serious problems -- which was the root of origin of the problems here (the stamp was a little coincidental bad luck).  I once had my car stolen by the city, back in the old city tow days when it wasn't administered directly by the city. Car was stolen from a legit parking spot. During the tow, they broke the fuel line. So not only did I have to pay $400 (1996 dollars) to get it out, I had to pay for a tow truck to haul out my now-broken car. PITA.  OP, are you interested in collaborating to synthesise some of these facts into more infographic types of media? More widely, is anyone else interested in trying to distil some of these facts down into infographics and easily consumable (aesthetic) graphs? So anyway, let's jump to the pitch. I've been thinking recently that I need to make counter-propaganda that sets the record straight. I've been wanting to learn some infographic and image creation type skills for a while and I think this will be my excuse/motivation to learn. I got harassed today by a fairly rude vegan who apparently lurks on this sub, and tried to argue that ethical philosophers' consensus is that veganism is "correct/good" for most ethical systems. I have wondered about the use of animal byproducts in fertilizer production..is it significant and because of this are vegans indirectly consuming an diet dependent on animal agriculture. Great post. Veganism is not a diet, it's just malnutrition - it has nothing to do with health and when you dig deep into a vegan it usually is revealed that it's a moral dilemma for them. The supposed health benefits are just a way to justify this counter-intuitive fad eat disorder. When they point out a logical fallacy that you may have used they think that defeats the entire refutation/argument.
