 Public water is usually tested every two weeks, more or less, to be sure the water is safe to drink and bathe in. Even public surface water is tested. (lakes and rivers, etc) Here are some recent results for surface water testing. Color coding, red means it's really bad. Yellow is also unacceptible. Some of the coliforms come from areas where homeless people encamp, don't have or don't care to use public toilets --- use sidewalks that drain into gutters or other run off. Some use buckets that are emptied which end up in surface water where people wade into the water, or boat and fish; children and their dogs swim. Not a good thing to have this degree of contamination going on while COVID-19 is spreading since poop can be infectious.

The DMV Registration tags expiring, that's on him. He can't blame the city, state, etc. for that. Renewing registration is key, because if any minor incident happens, you're facing serious problems -- which was the root of origin of the problems here (the stamp was a little coincidental bad luck).  I once had my car stolen by the city, back in the old city tow days when it wasn't administered directly by the city. Car was stolen from a legit parking spot. During the tow, they broke the fuel line. So not only did I have to pay $400 (1996 dollars) to get it out, I had to pay for a tow truck to haul out my now-broken car. PITA. Aside from a few other liberal hell hole cities you’d never experience anything like this in the rest of the country. They’ve got their own set of problems, but this isn’t one of them.  My friends that have only lived here a few years, they don’t have SF circa 2008 to compare to. They don’t see what I see. I’m guessing YOU don’t see what I see.  I do have to say that I’ve lived here for 12 years and a whole lot has changed in the past decade here. Media markets are the same size regardless of the sport. Pittsburgh is the #24 media market in the United States whether you're talking about NFL or MLB. The NFL fans are just more passionate because they go into each season with the knowledge that they are built to compete unlike the Pirates. Exactly my point. MLB awards non competitive teams and does not assign small market / large market based on the markets they own. They are, by the very definition, small market teams. It has nothing to do with what other entities the ownership owns or whether owners decide they are small market. Stuff gets removed, stuff gets too quiet.
