People need people. Thats just how we were made. Our impending mental health crisis is going to be because of the extreme measures we didn't really have to take, or because people can't just handle hanging out with 2--3 friends; no, they need a lake party. But let's not jump all over someone for wanting to see their parents or someone they are dating. NOT seeing them is way more unhealthy than the "stay inside your studio apartment for 2 years and don't come out" comments I'm seeing on here, though I think some people in Seattle just do that anyway.  I can only do calls over zoom. Mental health is always looked down upon and it’s sad that even though it’s clearly a crisis now, people still aren’t taking it seriously.

The DMV Registration tags expiring, that's on him. He can't blame the city, state, etc. for that. Renewing registration is key, because if any minor incident happens, you're facing serious problems -- which was the root of origin of the problems here (the stamp was a little coincidental bad luck).  I once had my car stolen by the city, back in the old city tow days when it wasn't administered directly by the city. Car was stolen from a legit parking spot. During the tow, they broke the fuel line. So not only did I have to pay $400 (1996 dollars) to get it out, I had to pay for a tow truck to haul out my now-broken car. PITA.   This really sucks, I’ve been there more than I’d like to admit. Curious why you didn’t just pay your registration though...your lack of a permanent address is kinda irrelevant. No matter what, the Jeep is still registered to your previous/current address. It’s not like the registered address just goes blank if you don’t pay your tags. Regarding smog, they give you a month to get a smog test once you pay the fees, and temporary tags until then. A good idea. Someone should definitely take that on. I'm surprised no one has brought up that Bobby Lee thing. I remember in an episode of Tiger Belly that exact thing happened.
