 I wonder if local news would be interested in covering a story of complete bureaucratic / incompetent dysfunction? Might be worth contacting some reporters, getting this BS out there. Glad you got your car back. Can’t even begin to tell you how many horror stories I’ve had with SFMTA and the towing people. Safe to say though I’ve definitely learned my lesson the hard way and I haven’t had any issues now for the past couple years. Great Narrative. If you want to clean that up a little, smoother, I'm sure one of the local blogs or smaller news would love to publish it. AutoReturn (under the freeway) is next to Hall of Justice, i.e. Police and Sheriff HQ. You could have just walked there, rather than running back and forth between SOMA and North Beach, IMHO.

This neurologist was an old school Ukrainian lady. Her and her assistant who was a probably mid 30s white guy just straight did not believe me that I had a seizure several hours after stopping drinking. They were convinced that it can only happen 3-7 days after quitting, so they had me on keppra for a year and I wasn't allowed to drive for a year. Even though my eeg and extended eeg showed nothing. Almost wish I would of had a seizure during the extended eeg just to prove them wrong but for once I successfully tapered before that 36 hour scan. He of course knew about my alcoholism and knew how dangerous WDs can be but he wanted me to see a neurologist anyways and have a eeg done. I'd imagine it's a lot of people who'd be spending most of their time "social distancing" and playing armchair authoritarian over the Internet anyway who are glad to now have a convenient excuse to do just that in the name of the moral high ground. I’m so tired of these self-righteous false binaries. We’re actually talking about a complex, highly dynamic set of forces—health, economic, social, educational, etc.—acting on each other whether we shut down or not. Pretending it’s a pure matter of altruism/self-sacrifice vs hedonism/selfishness just sounds simpleminded, not noble. But there’s so many other complications of another lockdown that are just as important. That's not a good way to feel, there are other options, I hope you consider looking up one. I had an appointment scheduled for the 24th but something else came up. I've cared to so little the past 4 months I have just been wearing a ponytail everyday, now matching my scrunchies to my facemasks to match my shirts. It's really become less a matter of fear of getting cut and realizing how much easier this is. It's not a good idea. It's an option, but it's still a bad idea. You just shouldn't. A haircut is not necessary. I'm taking this forced hiatus from haircuts to experiment, anyway, see how my hair looks if I grow it out. Or just cut your own hair and don't trim it to the exact length you want so your hair stylist can fix it for you someday.
