Even though I appreciate older movies, I genuinely think filmmakers have improved. They have learned, better technology have made things easier and techniques have been refined and improved. The masterpieces of 40 years ago wouldn't be considered as good if released today, even solely in terms of storytelling. The average is better today imho. It does on Letterboxd. Excluding documentaries the top 5 of 1994 are Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Satantango, Lion King, Chungking Express. Interesting to see the different (but overlapping) demographics. That might be the year that I really got seriously into going to the cinema.

The DMV Registration tags expiring, that's on him. He can't blame the city, state, etc. for that. Renewing registration is key, because if any minor incident happens, you're facing serious problems -- which was the root of origin of the problems here (the stamp was a little coincidental bad luck).  I once had my car stolen by the city, back in the old city tow days when it wasn't administered directly by the city. Car was stolen from a legit parking spot. During the tow, they broke the fuel line. So not only did I have to pay $400 (1996 dollars) to get it out, I had to pay for a tow truck to haul out my now-broken car. PITA. I have wondered about the use of animal byproducts in fertilizer production..is it significant and because of this are vegans indirectly consuming an diet dependent on animal agriculture. Great post. Veganism is not a diet, it's just malnutrition - it has nothing to do with health and when you dig deep into a vegan it usually is revealed that it's a moral dilemma for them. The supposed health benefits are just a way to justify this counter-intuitive fad eat disorder. When they point out a logical fallacy that you may have used they think that defeats the entire refutation/argument.  OP, are you interested in collaborating to synthesise some of these facts into more infographic types of media? More widely, is anyone else interested in trying to distil some of these facts down into infographics and easily consumable (aesthetic) graphs? So anyway, let's jump to the pitch. I've been thinking recently that I need to make counter-propaganda that sets the record straight. I've been wanting to learn some infographic and image creation type skills for a while and I think this will be my excuse/motivation to learn. I got harassed today by a fairly rude vegan who apparently lurks on this sub, and tried to argue that ethical philosophers' consensus is that veganism is "correct/good" for most ethical systems.
