Aside from a few other liberal hell hole cities you’d never experience anything like this in the rest of the country. They’ve got their own set of problems, but this isn’t one of them.  My friends that have only lived here a few years, they don’t have SF circa 2008 to compare to. They don’t see what I see. I’m guessing YOU don’t see what I see.  I do have to say that I’ve lived here for 12 years and a whole lot has changed in the past decade here. Media markets are the same size regardless of the sport. Pittsburgh is the #24 media market in the United States whether you're talking about NFL or MLB.
