Thanks honey. I kinda hate how much Benzos suck the remainder of my motivation and creativity and make me just sit on the couch and eat and stare at the walls all day. Plus the sobriety malaise and complete boredom. Lockdown plus this is the most boring slow crawl towards death I can think of. Clear brain scan is fantastic news, congrats. Hugs on the forced sobriety and platelets/bruising. Hang in there and hug your cats. Do you have any company at a distance at least? Who can tap on your window and make faces, that sort of thing. Been sober here since April, sucks sometimes but still overall better than it was. How far into detox are you?

  This really sucks, I’ve been there more than I’d like to admit. Curious why you didn’t just pay your registration though...your lack of a permanent address is kinda irrelevant. No matter what, the Jeep is still registered to your previous/current address. It’s not like the registered address just goes blank if you don’t pay your tags. Regarding smog, they give you a month to get a smog test once you pay the fees, and temporary tags until then. The DMV Registration tags expiring, that's on him. He can't blame the city, state, etc. for that. Renewing registration is key, because if any minor incident happens, you're facing serious problems -- which was the root of origin of the problems here (the stamp was a little coincidental bad luck).  I once had my car stolen by the city, back in the old city tow days when it wasn't administered directly by the city. Car was stolen from a legit parking spot. During the tow, they broke the fuel line. So not only did I have to pay $400 (1996 dollars) to get it out, I had to pay for a tow truck to haul out my now-broken car. PITA. A good idea. Someone should definitely take that on. I'm surprised no one has brought up that Bobby Lee thing. I remember in an episode of Tiger Belly that exact thing happened.
